Product Description

Buy Generic Luzu 1% (Luliconazole) without prescription at Canadian Pharmacy

At our Canadian pharmacy, you can purchase Luzu 1% (luliconazole) cream without a prescription, with discreet and anonymous packaging delivered within 5-14 days across Canada.
Luzu is a topical antifungal used to treat athlete's foot between the toes, jock itch, and ringworm. It belongs to the azole class and works by breaking down the fungal cell membrane.
The usual treatment course is once daily for 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the infection site.
The administration form is a 1% cream, supplied in 60 g tubes.
The medication starts working on the fungal cells shortly after application, though visible improvement of the skin may take several days.
Alcohol consumption is not a concern with this topical product, as systemic absorption is minimal.
The most common side effects are mild application site reactions such as burning, itching, or redness.

Common Use Luzu

Luliconazole is an imidazole antifungal. It targets the enzyme lanosterol 14-alpha demethylase, which dermatophytes need to build ergosterol, a key component of their cell membrane. When that enzyme is blocked, the fungal membrane falls apart and the organism dies. Luzu is approved in Canada for interdigital tinea pedis, tinea cruris, and tinea corporis. The two-week regimen for athlete's foot between the toes is a bit longer than the one-week course for jock itch or ringworm, because the skin between the toes is thicker and heals more slowly. The cream is not meant for fungal infections of the nails, scalp, or mucous membranes.

Dosage & Direction

Wash and dry the affected area before applying the cream. Put a thin layer over the rash and about 2.5 cm of the skin around it. For athlete's foot between the toes, use it once daily for two weeks. For jock itch or ringworm, once daily for one week is enough. Rub it in gently. Wash your hands afterwards unless your hands are the treated area. Do not cover the area with a bandage or plastic wrap unless your doctor says so. If the rash has not improved after the full course, stop and see a doctor rather than continuing to use the cream.

Precautions

Luzu is for skin only. Keep it away from your eyes, mouth, and vagina. If you accidentally get some in your eyes, rinse with plenty of water. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. It is not known whether luliconazole passes into breast milk, so use it only if your doctor advises it. Do not use the cream on open wounds or broken skin. If you have diabetes or poor circulation in your feet, athlete's foot can be more stubborn and complications are more likely, so check with a doctor before self-treating. Stop using the cream and call your doctor if the skin becomes very irritated, blistered, or swollen.

Contraindications

There are no formal contraindications listed for luliconazole cream. Do not use it if you have had an allergic reaction to luliconazole or any of the inactive ingredients in the product. The cream is not intended for children under 18 years of age, as safety and efficacy have not been established in that group. Do not apply it to the scalp, nails, or inside the mouth or vagina. If you have a fungal infection that has spread to the nails, Luzu will not treat it.

Possible Side Effects

Application site reactions are the main side effect, and they occur in less than 1% of people in clinical trials. That means burning, itching, redness, or irritation where the cream is applied. Contact dermatitis and cellulitis have been reported rarely after the product went to market. Most skin reactions are mild and go away when the cream is stopped. If you develop severe redness, swelling, oozing, or pain that gets worse instead of better, tell your doctor. There is no evidence that luliconazole causes systemic side effects when used as directed on intact skin.

Drug Interaction

Luliconazole is applied to the skin, so it is not expected to affect other medications the way oral antifungals can. Still, laboratory studies show that luliconazole can inhibit certain liver enzymes, specifically CYP2C19 and CYP3A4. This means there is a theoretical risk that it could raise the levels of drugs processed by those enzymes, such as warfarin, some benzodiazepines, or certain HIV medications. No real-world interaction studies have been done to confirm this. To be safe, tell your doctor or pharmacist about every medication you take, including over-the-counter products and supplements, especially if you take warfarin or another drug with a narrow safety margin.

Missed Dose

If you forget to apply Luzu, put it on as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and go back to your regular schedule. Do not apply extra cream to make up for the missed dose. Consistency matters more than catching up.

Overdose

Overdose with a topical cream is unlikely to cause serious harm. If someone swallows Luzu, it may cause stomach upset, nausea, or vomiting. Contact a poison control centre or go to an emergency department if a child or adult ingests the cream. Do not induce vomiting unless a healthcare professional tells you to.

Storage

Store Luzu cream at room temperature between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius (68 and 77 degrees Fahrenheit). Brief exposure to temperatures between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius (59 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit) is acceptable. Keep the tube tightly closed when not in use. Do not freeze. Store it away from heat, moisture, and direct light. Do not keep it in the bathroom. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not use after the expiry date on the tube.
